Any visit to Sandy Lane should include a dining experience in The Monkey Club, featuring contemporary decor, a brasserie-styled menu and a fabulous cocktail list - The Monkey Club has quickly become a favourite evening destination for hotel guests.

More informal all-day dining can be enjoyed at Bajan Blue – perfect for its European, Caribbean and Asian-influenced cuisine as well as its not-to-be-missed Sunday Brunch and themed buffet evenings.

Served with style, Sandy Lane produces a sumptuous English afternoon tea under the shade of the mahogany trees on the lower terrace every day, while the Beach Bar’s charming atmosphere is the perfect spot from which to soak up sunset views and sample refreshing cocktails, spirits and beers.

Boasting three golf courses that offer some of the best golf in the world, Sandy Lane's courses include The Old Nine, The Country Club and the world-renowned Green Monkey: a Tom Fazio creation.

At the south end of the beach, the water sports centre offers water skiing, towable rides, kayaking, catamaran sailing - even a trip to swim with the turtles. Scuba diving and deep-sea fishing charters can also be arranged. For a more laid-back time on the beach or by the pool, the hotel provides reserved seating, cold towels, tropical drinks, sorbets, fresh fruit, sunglass cleaning etc.

Eight tennis courts and two padel courts, all floodlit, are available for guests and a qualified resident tennis professional is available for lessons.

In addition to the golf, tennis and water sports facilities, the gym and training area has a full range of LifeFitness aerobic equipment, Concept II rowers, a range of free weights, a Vibrogym and an exercise studio – all supervised by qualified personal trainers. There are also complimentary classes daily, including Pilates, spinning, circuits and yoga.

Beyond the impressive marble reception area, sweeping staircases lead to treatment suites, changing rooms and water therapies. The Spa at Sandy Lane draws on wellbeing traditions from across the world, all combined with a Barbadian sense of warmth.

The spa resort features hydrotherapy facilities, Jet Blitz room, Rhassoul and an outdoor shower experience.11 treatment suites, designed in granite and cherry woods, each have their own bathroom and private landscaped garden or hydrotherapy pool.

Family

The Treehouse Club (for 3 – 12 year olds) is open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, has a playground area, swim hour daily, afternoon movie time, movie nights outdoors and indoors, and special themed children's dinner parties.

Children under the age of 3 years can visit their own branch of The Treehouse Club when accompanied by an adult (parent, nanny, or babysitter).
